Last shot of the night

September 13, 2008

Well, we’re filming the last parking lot scene with Ray now. Time to reflect on what we’ve learned..
This has been such a revealing shoot; I’m impressed with the work ethic here at FullSail. It’s amazing when talented people come together with a singularity of purpose… in this case, to make “Nocturnal” the best short feature [...]

Bedroom scene

September 13, 2008

About to film the “bedroom scene”… never done one of these before, makes me a little nervous
Actually, there’s really nothing to this one; it’s just us in bed together afterwards, the rest us implied via fun camera clues. After this, on to my last shot of the night!

Nocturnal day 2

September 13, 2008

Second day! First up was Nadine with her shot of Jadin’s phone prank. It’s ladies night here it seems, as we’re shooting their scenes now, and the scenes with Adolfo (me) and Ray at midnight.

I’ll post [...]

“Nocturnal” studio rehearsal

September 11, 2008

So, we ran through the scenes a few times last night. This is my first shoot on a soundstage (always shot on location before), so seeing how that was going to go was interesting. The shoot is so late at night! We go from 9pm to 9am both days, so I’ll
Be sleeping in tomorrow to [...]

“Nocturnal” begins shooting this week

June 8, 2007

Doing another movie! I’m playing the lead again, this time my character works at a suicide watch hotline that scores it’s success with patients on a win/loss board… I even gives a “thumbs down” over my cubicle wall when I lose one! My fourth film so far, and the first one I’ve done shot entirely [...]
